Malone seals Burton switch

Burton have signed Wolves left-back Scott Malone on a month's loan.

The 19-year-old, who enjoyed a spell at Southend last term, goes straight into Albion's squad for Saturday's clash with Bradford.

"We have brought him here for an initial month on loan," manager Paul Peschisolido told the club's official website. "I spoke to (Wolves boss) Mick McCarthy and he was keen to send him here to get some more games. He is a player of high quality; he was in npower League one last season and is the with England Under-19s set-up."
