Hereford's on-loan defender Tony James will look to sort out his immediate loan future this week.

The 32-year-old, who captained the Bulls during his eight-year spell at Edgar Street between 1998-2006, rejoined the club from Burton on a one-month loan deal on October 1 and sees his stint come to end after Saturday's trip to Stockport.

"Obviously with the situation at the club, there's no-one really to make decisions," James told Bulls Player.

"I know (caretaker manager) Jamie Pitman is doing his best to try and get in contact with Burton to try and sort something out, I know he'd like me to stay.

"But I need to speak with them (Burton) as well. If they keep picking up injuries every week, not long-term ones, but it whittles the squad down so I'm sure he (Paul Peschisolido) will probably want me back.

"But we'll try and work on that this week and see what can happen."
