After being linked during this week, Tottenham have been told that Belgian wonderkid Romelu Lukaku has already agreed to join Chelsea, according to Goal.com.

The 17-year-old has been described as the new Didier Drogba and last season became the youngest ever player to win the Golden Boot in the Belgian top league.

He has been chased by the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona during the summer but it had seemed Chelsea would be the most likely place for him to end up after he was pictured in a Chelsea shirt.

An English team, which is remaining unnamed, had a £17.75 million offer rejected in the last transfer window and tht team is reported to be Tottenham.

And Harry Redknapp has been linked with another move for the Belgian after sending Spurs scouts to watch Anderlecht matches.

However, the Belgian giants have apparently told Tottenham that Lukaku has made his mind up to sign for Carlo Ancelotti’s men and move to Stamford Bridge when he does decide to leave which, according to his agent, will be at the end of the season.

Christophe Henrotay told Goal.com : “He will make his decision at the end of the season and not before. Before then, nothing will happen. He has to play well and give 100 per cent to Anderlecht. After that, we will see.”
