Shrewsbury have completed the emergency loan signing of Exodus Geohaghon from Peterborough on a three-month deal.

The towering 6ft 7in central defender has just completed a loan spell at Rotherham where he played 16 times in all competitions and went straight into Shrews' squad for Tuesday night's clash at Crewe.

Town manager Graham Turner told his club's official website: "We have had a little bit of an injury crisis, especially in the defensive area."

He added: "Exodus Geohaghon is a player I've known of for a while and it's good to have him on board.

"He has just completed a loan spell at Rotherham so should be up to match sharpness and fitness."
