Gowling set for Gills recall

Josh Gowling will be returning to Gillingham when his one-month loan spell at Lincoln ends.

Gowling recently indicated his desire to stay at Sincil Bank after winning a regular place in the side but Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler faces an injury crisis and needs as many players as possible back at Priestfield.

"At this present time we need to keep everyone together and that is what we will do," Hessenthaler told the Kent Messenger. "We have helped them (Lincoln) out for a month but we will bring him back and pull everyone in together."
