Barnet welcome back Jordan Parkes and Mark Byrne for the visit of Northampton.

Parkes will be recalled at left-back after missing Tuesday's narrow FA Cup defeat at Charlton through suspension.

On-loan Nottingham Forest midfielder Byrne also sat out at The Valley with a slight knee injury but the Bees are confident he will be fit.

Striker Izale McLeod made his long-awaited debut as a substitute in midweek after just one day of training having recovered from knee surgery and he will be involved again.

Winger Glenn Poole is still out with an ankle injury and forward Danny Kelly will be sidelined for another month with a hamstring problem.

Defenders Darren Dennehy and Daniel Leach (both foot) remain long-term absentees.

Northampton manager Ian Sampson will have Abdul Osman in his side.

Midfielder Osman was sent-off against Port Vale last weekend, but the club appealed the decision successfully and he is available to keep his place alongside Nathaniel Wedderburn in the middle.

Striker Leon McKenzie is set to return from a thigh injury to boost Sampson`s options and could replace on-loan Leicester forward Craig King in the starting XI.

Defender Marcus Hall is now fit after a groin strain, but cannot force his way back into the side at the moment, while striker Tadhg Purcell remains out for the season after he suffered serious knee ligament damage in August.

Midfielder Ryan Gilligan missed the goalless draw with Vale last week but has recovered from his knee twinge and will be in contention.
