United ease to victory

Wayne Rooney returned to action as Manchester United brushed aside nine-man Wigan 2-0.

Patrice Evra and Javier Hernandez scored for United while the visitors had Antolin Alcaraz and Hugo Rodallega sent off.

Victory saw United draw level with Chelsea at the top of the Barclays Premier League.
