Stoke halt poor run

Robert Huth powered home a 51st-minute header to help Stoke to a 2-0 victory, making Steve Kean's first game in permanent charge of Blackburn a miserable one.

Huth pounced to angle the ball home from Matthew Etherington's cross and Marc Wilson rounded off a fine win for Tony Pulis' side in injury time.

Rovers threatened only through half-chances for Mame Biram Diouf and Brett Emerton and left Kean to hear his side being booed off at the whistle.
