Tamas Priskin was the hero as Ipswich deservedly drew first blood in their Carling Cup semi-final with a 1-0 win over a strong Arsenal side.

Arsene Wenger named Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere in his starting line-up but for all their midfield passing the Gunners lacked a cutting edge.

Lone forward Priskin tormented defenders Laurent Koscielny and Johan Djourou all evening and was rewarded with the late winner in front of the watching Paul Jewell.
