Assistant manager Tommy Wright has warned Chesterfield about complacency after the league leaders needed a late Deane Smalley equaliser to draw 2-2 at home to Aldershot.
Smalley headed John Sheridan`s side in front early on, but Tim Sills struck twice in the second half before the striker rescued the Spireites.
"You would normally be quite happy with our run of form but we were bitterly disappointed with the second-half performance," said Wright.
"There was no tempo to the game or belief, we seemed to just think let's just turn up, we are Chesterfield, we are top of the league.
"But we were fortunate to get a point because Aldershot were better than us in the second half.
"We just need to get our brightness back and our belief back and make sure we don't get in that comfort zone because if we do we will get our backside kicked and we nearly got our backside kicked here."
