Oldham have been boosted after winger Filipe Morais signed a permanent deal at Boundary Park.
The Portugal-born wideman, 24, has been a fixture in the side in recent weeks despite only being with the club on a non-contract basis.
"People think I delayed signing for financial reasons which was not the case," he told the club's official website. "What persuaded me to stay was the gaffer (Paul Dickov), because he gets the best out of me and that is why I am happy to sign a permanent contract."
He added: "It has definitely helped me mentally having the option for next season when hopefully we will be playing in the Championship."
