New signing Tom Williams is poised to make his Walsall debut in what is a huge relegation clash against fellow strugglers Dagenham & Redbridge.
Williams on Monday morning penned a deal with the Saddlers until the end of the season and has now been handed the relevant clearance to feature at the Banks`s Stadium.
Manager Dean Smith has no new injury or suspension concerns following Saturday`s narrow 1-0 defeat to high-flying Bournemouth and will be desperate for all three points against the Daggers as 23rd meets 22nd in League One.
Walsall find themselves just one point behind John Still`s men and victory on Tuesday could put them within one win of safety.
Long-term absentee Darren Byfield remains the only player on the sidelines although he is now working on his fitness with a view to returning to a substitute role as soon as possible.
Dagenham boss John Still will welcome Danny Green back into his squad.
The 22-year-old midfielder has missed the last three games through suspension following his sending-off against MK Dons on January 22, but could go straight back into the starting line-up to face the Saddlers.
Defender Scott Doe is doubtful with an arm injury sustained during the 2-1 win over Yeovil on Saturday.
However, he will be given as much time as possible to prove his fitness and will undergo a fitness test prior to kick-off.
Midfielder Peter Gain will sit out the second game of his three-match ban following his sending-off at Oldham on February 5, while striker Josh Scott is out for the rest of the season with a blood clot.
