Forest cross fingers over loanee injury

Nottingham Forest are waiting to discover the extent of the hamstring injury Paul Konchesky suffered against Preston.

The on-loan Liverpool full-back was forced off with the problem midway through the second half of the 2-2 draw at the City Ground on Tuesday night.

Reds boss Billy Davies said: "It is a slight hamstring, hopefully it will not be too severe."

He added: "It is tough to say accurately right now."


 

Konchesky is likely to miss the trip to Millwall on Saturday.
