Portsmouth manager Steve Cotterill wants his side to continue their march clear of the drop zone by increasing Scunthorpe's relegation worries on Tuesday night.

Saturday's 2-0 win at Ipswich - a fourth straight victory and fourth consecutive clean sheet - has lifted Pompey 13 points clear of the bottom three and within 10 points of the play-offs. They are now preparing to host an Iron side floundering four points from safety.

"It's pleasing to keep another clean sheet, but we've got another tough game at home to Scunthorpe and we've got to keep it going," said Cotterill.

"We can't go into the game expecting to win - we need our fans driving us on and rooting for us like they always do. We won't be taking anything for granted ."
