Derby midfielder James Bailey has resumed full training after recovering from a groin injury.
The problem, sustained during the 1-1 draw at Portsmouth at the start of February, has seen the 22-year-old miss the last seven league matches.
He trained on Wednesday and, barring no reaction, could return to the Rams' squad for the visit of Swansea on Saturday.
"`We've missed James," manager Nigel Clough told the club's official website.
"He showed early on in the season how big a player he can be for us.
"We are looking forward to having him involved in the squad again."
