Totenham Hotspur defender Vedran Corluka says his Spurs side must take it 'a game at a time' as the North London club look to retain fourth spot in the Barclays Premier League.
As the 'business end' of the season fast approaches, Corluka has pinpointed April as the pivotal month that will determine whether or not Spurs qualify for the Champions League.
"We have a lot of games in April and we need to start another run going now," he said.
"Our focus on each match shouldn't be difficult, we have to enjoy these times as players.
"To play for a place in the Premier League's top four and the Champions League as well is a great thing for everyone at the club."
With league encounters against Arsenal and Chelsea to follow, Tottenham are also preparing to embark on the much anticipated high profile Champions League quarter final clash with Real Madrid.
Currently sitting in fifth place in the league, four points behind Manchester City but with a game in hand. Every game is vitally important for Spurs between now and May, and each should be treated as a potential season-defining moment, with Corluka reflecting:
"It's been a fantastic season so far, our fans are loving it and so are we.
"We have to remember where we were three years ago, it's incredible really. If you had told me then we would be challenging for the top four and in the last eight of the Champions League, I would have thought you were crazy!
"But with the players we have here and the manager too, we deserve to be where we are.
"We worked hard for the last three years and have made big improvements. We have real belief in ourselves and when you have that, anything is possible."
