Nicky Forster has urged his Brentford side to put the disappointment of their Wembley defeat behind them and gatecrash the play-offs.
The Bees were beaten 1-0 by Carlisle in Sunday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy final but are still in with a sniff of a top-six finish.
Forster insists they could still end the season on a high with a trip to Old Trafford in this season's League One final, saying: "We've got a lot to play for, 21 points in the league, and with a good return who knows where we can go?"
"Brighton have just won eight games in a row and there's no reason why we can't win seven and get to another big venue at Manchester United - someone has got to go there."
Forster's men are currently eight points behind sixth-placed Bournemouth with seven games remaining, and face relegation-threatened Swindon at Griffin Park on Saturday.
Peter Murphy scored a first-half winner for the Cumbrians in the Football League's season showpiece.
