Reda Johnson could return to the Sheffield Wednesday squad to face Swindon at Hillsborough.

The defender has missed the last two matches due to a groin injury.

Should Johnson return it will be a boost for manager Gary Megson, who will be without fellow centre-half Mark Beevers for the rest of the season due to a fractured cheekbone.

Megson has options should he wish to make changes, with Jermaine Johnson, Chris Sedgwick, Darren Potter and Clinton Morrison among those available for recalls.

Goalkeeper Nicky Weaver returned to the bench against Walsall on Saturday after an injury lay-off. It remains to be seen whether he will replace Richard O'Donnell.

Wednesday will hope to maintain their strong finish to the campaign following just one defeat - to champions Brighton - in the last five games.

Swindon will have Andy Frampton available for the crucial trip.

The defender served a one-match suspension as the Robins lost at home to relegation rivals Notts County on Saturday.

Frampton will compete with Scott Cuthbert and Lecsinel Jean-Francois for one of two places at the heart of defence.

Goalkeeper David Lucas returned to the side against the Magpies following a back injury so boss Paul Hart must decide whether to stick with him or recall Phil Smith.

Vincent Pericard, on the bench on Saturday following a knee injury, Simon Ferry, Michael Timlin and Elliot Benyon are available for recalls.

Swindon will be relegated if they fail to match or better the results of games involving Bristol Rovers, Walsall and Dagenham.
