Porto manager Andre Villas-Boas has revealed a €15 million release clause in his contract that may open up a move to Chelsea this summer, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The Europa League winner has caused a stir in Europe this season, after his Porto side waltzed to the Portuguese title.

Speculation is rife that Carlos Ancelotti will be sacked as Chelsea manager after the club's final game of the season away at Everton, and Villas-Boas' revelations may put The Blues on red alert.

“Porto has the highest release clauses in the market so it is not possible for talent to run away from us,” he explained of the players before turning to himself.

“My release clause is very, very high. It is something that reflects the power of the Porto brand and I’m very proud of that. This is my club, my hometown and I’m proud to be here.”

After struggling to keep up with Manchester United in the title race, Chelsea may look for a radical overhaul this summer, starting with manager Ancelotti.

Much has been made of the club's signing of Fernando Torres in the January transfer window, and rumours have swelled since Chelsea fell out of the title race that a huge re-shuffle is expect this summer, starting with the manager.
