Australia midfielder Neil Kilkenny is poised to leave Leeds this summer after refusing to accept a new contract.

Manager Simon Grayson, who is also resigned to losing Bradley Johnson, has admitted defeat after after the 25-year-old failed to produce an answer to the terms offered.

Grayson told the club`s official website: "This is another issue we wanted resolving as we have to prepare for next season. I'm keen to move on so we can plan accordingly in terms of what we have and what we need."

Kilkenny, currently away on international duty, joined Leeds in January 2008 and has made 144 appearances.

Grayson revealed earlier in the week that Johnson has rejected a new deal at Elland Road, with the former Northampton midfielder's agent revealing he had received offers from two Premier League clubs.
