Legzdins is fielding offers - Robinson

Burton chairman Ben Robinson has confirmed that Brewers Player of the Year Adam Legzdins is attracting interest from other clubs.

Reports over the weekend linked the 24-year-old goalkeeper with npower Championship neighbours Derby.

Robinson has met with Legzdins' agent and is expecting further offers for the player - but he wants negotiations to be kept private until they are resolved.


 

"When I read the story on Saturday, it (being made public) came as a bit of surprise," Robinson told the Burton Mail.

"The situation with the goalkeeper is such that we've had a number of clubs showing interest in him.

"At the present time, discussions taking place are in strict confidence and we need to see what is ultimately resolved."
