Millwall have turned down a second bid from Norwich for Wales forward Steve Morison.

The Canaries want to boost their strikeforce for next season's return to the Barclays Premier League but their offer is still well below Millwall's valuation.

Lions chief executive Andy Ambler told the South London Press: "Our valuation and Norwich's are very different."

Norwich made their original bid last week, prompting the 27-year-old to hand in a transfer request which was rejected by the Lions.

Millwall are desperate to keep hold of Morison, who has scored 40 goals in 95 appearances since he was plucked from non-league Stevenage two years ago.

City have already signed striker James Vaughan from Everton for an undisclosed fee.
