England goalkeeper Joe Hart says the Three Lions are ready to face Switzerland on Saturday in their Euro 2012 qualifier.

Darren Bent will spearhead the attack as England look to stay at the top of Group G ahead of closest rivals Montenegro.

Mark Hughes has left Fulham after less than a year in charge at Craven Cottage. Speculation had linked Hughes to the vacant Aston Villa manager position.

However, it has been claimed Villa are keen for Martin Jol to succeed Gerard Houllier, who stepped down as manager due to ill health.

Guus Hiddink has seemingly moved closer to a return as Chelsea manager after rejecting a technical director role at former club PSV Eindhoven.

Brad Friedel has agreed to move to Tottenham from Aston Villa. The goalkeeper has played over 400 games in the Barclays Premier League.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Sunderland's Jordan Henderson as Kenny Dalglish looks to improve the depth of his squad.

Dimitar Berbatov has committed his immediate future to Manchester United, insisting he will 'keep fighting for his place'.
