Millwall manager Kenny Jackett is attempting to fill the void left by top scorer Steve Morison's departure to Norwich.

Wales international Morison, who hit 40 goals in two seasons with the Lions, completed his switch to the Premier League new boys earlier this week for a fee believed to be around £2.8million.

Jackett said: "I've been on the look-out for new faces for some time. The fact Steve has gone just means we need another one."

He added: "We will have to be patient.

"Our position in the Championship means players, clubs and agents look at us and compare our resources with those of other clubs around us.

"We won't be paying inflated wages but we will get the right people for the job."

Former Blackpool striker Marlon Harewood and Derby frontman Steve Davies are already being linked with moves to The Den.
