Cumbrians boss rules out Duffy move

Carlisle boss Greg Abbott has ruled out a move for former loanee Darryl Duffy.

The 27-year-old striker had a spell on loan at Brunton Park in 2010 and has been linked with a return after he was released by Bristol Rovers.

But Abbott told the News & Star: "We know all about Darryl, as we do a lot of players and of course he had a spell here which was blighted by injury.


 

"But there has been no contact with him or his agent and it is not something we will be pursuing."
