Arsenal have a difficult start to the season, but will be hoping to get their big opponents out of the way and pick up necessary points as the season comes to an end.
The opening game of the season will see the Gunners take on Newcastle at St James’ Park, before Liverpool head to the Emirates for Arsenal’s first home match.
While Newcastle and Liverpool will be tough starts, Arsenal will follow the matches with Manchester United at Old Trafford, and Tottenham at White Hart Lane on the 1st October.
Arsenal are set to match up with Chelsea on the 29th October, and will face some rest from the top of the table until Christmas, when they play fellow Champions League contenders Manchester City on 17th December.
The cross town rival clash with Tottenham will take place again on the 25th February, and then the Gunners have a decent run in to make up for their tough start, with Chelsea the only possible title contenders in their last five games, and West Brom, Norwich, Wigan and Wolves making up the remaining four matches.
The Gunners will face Premier League newcomers Swansea in their fourth match, and Norwich away on the 19th November, while they play QPR on New Years Eve.
