Npower League One fixtures released

Huddersfield Town begin their quest to avenge their play-off final defeat as they host newly promoted Bury on the opening day of the 2011/12 League One season.

Fellow promoted sides Chesterfield and Stevenage face Tranmere and Exeter City before facing each other on the second weekend of the season.

As for the sides relegated from the Championship, Scunthorpe United ace the fourth promoted side Wycombe Wanderers, Sheffield United travel to Oldham Athletic and Preston North End host Colchester.

Bournemouth face Charlton Athletic in the stand-out fixture on the opening day, while Milton Keynes Dons play Hartlepool United.

Elsewhere, Brentford play Yeovil Town, Carlisle United host Notts County, Sheffield Wednesday play Rochdale and Walsall face Leyton Orient.

Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday will renew hostilities on October 15th at Bramall Lane, with the return game on February 25th at Hillsborough.
