Rotherham have completed the double signing of Luke Foster from Stevenage and Brighton striker Chris Holroyd, subject to a medical.

Defender Foster, 25, who made 23 appearances for Stevenage last season as they secured promotion to League One, joins the Millers on a one-year deal, with the option for a second year. Holroyd, 24, has signed a two-year contract.

Foster said: "I'm delighted to join my hometown club. Rotherham is potentially a massive club. It has a bright future and I want to be a part of that."

Holroyd added: "It's a big and ambitious club that wants to get out of this division and I'm delighted to be here.

"I think this is the right club for me."
