Bristol City have agreed a three-year deal with Rotherham striker Ryan Taylor.

The 23-year-old, who scored 12 goals for the Millers last term, rejected fresh terms with the League Two side and has signed on for Keith Millen's men.

Rotherham will be entitled to a fee for Taylor, who was with the club since he was 16, but that could yet be decided at a Football League tribunal.

Despite only having two thirds of a season as first-choice striker for Andy Scott's side, Taylor has no qualms he can make the step up to the second tier.

"It's a massive step up from League Two and perhaps some believe it's too big," Taylor told the club's official website.

"But plenty have done it before and I'm determined to make sure I'm successful."
