Tykes land McNulty

Barnsley have signed full-back Jimmy McNulty from Championship rivals Brighton.

The left-sided defender has signed a two-year deal with the South Yorkshire club.

 

"I'm delighted to get the deal done and I am happy to be playing Championship football again," McNulty told the club's website.

The Liverpool-born defender moved to Brighton in 2009, but spent last season on loan at Scunthorpe as they were relegated to League One.
