Barnsley captures Rochdale defender

Barnsley's new manager Keith Hill has signed defender Scott Wiseman from Rochdale on a three-year deal.

Wiseman is the latest to swap Spotland for Oakwell following in the footsteps of Hill and former Dale midfielder Matt Done.


 

Right-back Wiseman, 25, made over 100 appearances for Rochdale and was part of the squad promoted from npower League Two in 2010.

Wiseman began his career with hull before spells with Rotherham and Darlington.
