Spireites seal Randall deal

Chesterfield have signed former Arsenal midfielder Mark Randall on a one-year deal.

The 21-year-old, a product of the Gunners` Academy, was released by the Premier League high-flyers at the end of last season.

After sealing the switch, Randall said: "I have seen the way Chesterfield play so I had no hesitation in signing for the club when approached by manager John Sheridan.

 

He added: "I am really looking forward to coming to the B2net Stadium."

Randall has previously enjoyed loan spells at Burnley, MK Dons as well as Rotherham and will be hoping to stamp his mark on League One with the newly-promoted Spireites.
