Hull have signed Leicester defender Jack Hobbs on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old centre-back spent three months on loan at the KC Stadium last season, making 13 appearances and linking up again with former Leicester boss Nigel Pearson.

Initially signed on loan from Liverpool before completing a permanent transfer a year later, Hobbs made 130 appearances for the Foxes, scoring one goal.

Hobbs told the Tigers' official website: "I'm delighted now that it's all done and I'm finally a Hull City player.

"I am really looking forward to meeting up with the other lads for pre-season and starting a push towards the Premier League.

"My time at the club last season only reinforced to me what a great club Hull City is - the stadium, the fans, the set-up here, the manager and the players meant it was great to be a part of last season and I want to be part of it again."
