Tykes land Edwards

Barnsley have swooped to sign Blackpool defender Rob Edwards.

The 28-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Norwich, was a free agent following his release from the Tangerines.

That alerted Tykes boss Keith Hill, who has given the full-back a two-year deal.

Hill told BBC Radio Sheffield: "It's an absolutely superb signing, I'm just really pleased to have got him on board."
