Walsall have signed versatile French winger Claude Gnakpa from Luton.
The 28-year-old is a powerful right-sided player who is also capable of playing in defence. He began his career with Montpellier before moving to Racing Santander in 2003. Three years later, he transferred to Liechtenstein-based FC Vaduz before switching to Luton via spells with Swindon and Peterborough.
Saddlers manager Dean Smith said: "Claude will bring a different dimension to our game. I'm glad to have him here, he's quick, strong, decent in the air and scores goals."
He added: "He was a favourite amongst the fans at Luton and hopefully he can do the same here.
"He certainly knows where the goal is and scored 15 times last season.
Gnakpa added: "I am excited by the challenge that sits before me. I like to score goals myself and I will be looking to weigh in with my fair share here."
