Manchester United players made a training ground return on Monday, with most of the squad returning from their summer break in fine spirits.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side are set for seven days of training in England before flying out to America, where the Red Devils begin their three-week, five game tour in the country.
There were a couple of notable absentees from the session though, with Javier Hernandez granted additional time after his exploits for Mexico in the Gold Cup, whilst Antonio Valencia is currently competing in the Copa America for Ecuador.
Additional key dates for United fans to look out for include Paul Scholes' testimonial match against the New York Cosmos on August 5th, whilst an open training session is schedule for the following day. The Community Shield clash against Manchester City will then take place on August 7th.
The Barclays Premier League season will kick-off in earnest a week later, with United facing West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns on the opening day of the season.
