Teniste joins Italian tour

Estonia international Taijo Teniste has been handed a trial with Swindon during their tour of Italy.

The 23-year-old defender is expected to join up with Paolo Di Canio's side at their base in Norcia ahead of the Robins' training session on Tuesday.

Teniste, who has played seven times for his country, will be given the chance to impress the new County Ground manager as he searches for cover in the left-back position.

The full-back has most recently been plying his trade with FC Levadia Tallinn and Premium Tartu in the Estonian league.

Meanwhile, fellow trialist Oliver Risser has been offered a permanent deal with the Robins.
