Owls sign Bennett to two-year deal

Sheffield Wednesday have completed the signing of defender Julian Bennett from Nottingham Forest.

The 26-year-old left-back was out of contract at the City Ground and has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Owls. Bennett made over 100 appearances for Forest and also had a loan spell with Crystal Palace last season.


 

He told Wednesday's official website: "It's fantastic to be here and I'm looking forward to the challenge. When a club like Sheffield Wednesday shows an interest in you it doesn't take too much thinking about."
