Tottenham Hotspur winger Niko Krancjar's sale could help pave the way for Pablo Osvaldo's move to White Hart Lane, according to the Metro.

The Croatian has been left out in the cold following the impressive form of Gareth Bale and Luka Modric.

And with Fiorentina reportedly interested in the £12 million rated Krancjar, Tottenham will then turn their attention to striker Osvaldo.

The Argentine born Italian currently applies his trade with Espanyol, and would cost striker short Tottenham £20 million.

With the future of the likes of Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe and Roman Pavlyuchenko uncertain, Osvaldo could prove to be a shrewd acquisition for Tottenham.
