Lucas Biglia has stated his ambition to move away from his current club Anderlecht this summer to try his luck in a bigger league.
The Argentina international’s reputation has increased this summer with his role in his country’s Copa America campaign.
Bigila has been linked with a move to the Barclays Premier League with skysports.com reporting Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham all retain an interest. Now the 25-year-old has confirmed he is keen to make such a move.
"I think I have ended my cycle at Anderlecht and I want to do something new," Biglia told Het Nieuwsblad.
"The board know what I want to do.
"I know that playing for the Argentina national side means I get plenty of exposure and opens lots of doors.
"Sometimes I feel I have to do more because I am playing in Belgium. I am aware that it would be easier if I was playing in a different league."
Arsenal could make a move for the highly-rated midfielder to replace Cesc Fabregas should he seal a move to Barcelona this summer.
Liverpool are less likely to up their interest after signing Charlie Adam and welcoming Alberto Aquillani back to Anfield.
