Barnsley new boy Scott Wiseman says the supporters can look forward to watching entertaining football this season.

The 25-year-old right-back moved to Oakwell for an undisclosed fee this summer, renewing acquaintances with new Tykes boss Keith Hill having played under him for three years at Rochdale.

"The fans ought to be excited by the fact we are going to be playing some good football under Keith Hill," he told The Star.

"His philosophy is to play football and attack. We're not going to just sit in and try and counter-attack people, that's not the thinking. We're all here now to entertain and to win matches.

"I've been part of a Keith Hill regime for three years now so I know what him and Dave Flitcroft are all about.

"So far the other new lads are taking everything on board too. We're all responding very well from what I've seen."
