Gulacsi joins Hull on loan

Hull have signed Hungarian goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi from Liverpool on a season-long loan.

The under-21 international signed for Liverpool in August 2008 after spending a successful year on loan with the Merseyside club, where he was a member of the treble-winning reserve team during the 2007/08 season.

Gulacsi has spent the majority of his career in England.

He made 18 appearances during a loan spell at Hereford in the latter stages of the 2008/09 campaign.

This was followed by another loan spell during the second half of the 2009/10 season, where he featured five times for Tranmere in League One.

He returned to Prenton Park at the start of 2010/11 and made 14 appearances in all competitions for the club before returning to Anfield in December 2010.
