Real Madrid superstar Kaka has made a comeback onto Chelsea’s transfer wishlist, according to Metro, with Andre Villas-Boas chasing a creative midfielder as an alternative to Javier Pastore.

While Kaka has continually pledged his future to Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho has reportedly decided that the Brazilian will not feature in next season’s campaign for the Spanish giants.

Chelsea have long been connected to Kaka, with the star still one of the world’s top footballers, despite failing to impress at Real. The Blues have yet to make a big money move in the transfer period, and while a deal with Pastore looked likely, the Palermo star has chosen cashed up side Paris Saint-Germain instead.

And for a fee of £25 million, Chelsea would no doubt see Kaka as a bargain, considering he moved from AC Milan to Real Madrid just two years ago for £56 million.

With Manchester City and Manchester United making some big moves in the transfer period – United have spent £60 million so far and City close to £40 million – Chelsea will be looking at making a big signing to trump their rivals, and Kaka might be just the ticket as the club go searching for European glory.
