Manchester United are ready to sign their third goalkeeper in seven months, with a deal for Carlisle youngster Dean Henderson on the brink of completion, according to Carlisle News and Star.
The 14-year-old has impressed at the club's centre of excellence and is due to seal a deal at United this week.
United and Carlisle agreed a compensation package for Henderson, with the player expected to join the club's youth academy headed by former striker Brian McClair.
David de Gea and Anders Lindgaard both signed for United in the past seven months, with Henderson expected to become the next stopper to join the club this week.
Chelsea and Newcastle were also reportedly interested in Henderson but United have won the race to sign the highly rated stopper.
