Torquay manager Martin Ling has no new injury worries and could name an unchanged side to face Crawley.

The Gulls maintained their unbeaten start to the league programme by beating Aldershot in midweek.

Striker Rene Howe and midfielder Lee Mansell have scored two league goals each this season and will again be expected to carry their side's goal threat as they go in search of their first home win of the campaign.

Young defender Daniel Leadbitter remains Torquay's only absentee.

The 20-year-old is yet to make his Gulls bow after agreeing a two-year deal at Plainmoor this summer following his release from hometown club Newcastle.

A persistent hamstring injury has kept him out of action so far this season.

Scott Davies should return to the Crawley squad for the trip.

The midfielder was left out against Southend on Tuesday night as a precaution due to a slight strain, with Scott Neilson handed a first start of the season in his place.

His return means boss Steve Evans will have a selection dilemma after Town romped to an impressive 3-0 win.

Centre-half John Dempster was available after a one-match suspension on Tuesday but could not even make the bench, with Evans sticking with Kyle McFadzean and Charlie Wassmer.

Midfielder Dannie Bulman is expected to miss out again with an ankle injury while skipper Pablo Mills (ankle) and fellow defender Jamie Day (back) are still on the sidelines.
