Jack Midson continued to prove he can hold his own in League Two as he helped AFC Wimbledon to a 1-1 draw against Hereford at Kingsmeadow.

Hereford's veteran striker Delroy Facey had put the Bulls in front, their first goal of the new season as they went in search of their first point.

But in-form Midson grabbed his fourth of the campaign to equalise.

Hereford were rewarded for a bright start after eight minutes when Benoit Dalibard was allowed to float a simple ball into the box and the unchallenged Facey headed home.

But less than a minute after Dons' Charles Ademeno headed against the post the home side were level, Midson getting on the end of Sammy Hatton's 25th-minute corner to head his third in two games.

Dons captain Jamie Stuart blew a chance to win it in injury time to leave his side still waiting for their first home win in league football.
