Inter Milan still want to replace Samuel Eto'o with Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez and are lining up a two-season loan bid for the Argentine superstar according to talkSPORT.

Reports emanating in Italy suggest the Serie A outfit will attempt to bring Tevez to the San Siro despite the imminent arrival of Diego Forlan from Atletico Madrid, to form a new-look attack for 2011-12.

Tevez has made no secret of his desire to leave Manchester City this summer, with Etihad Stadium officials responding by stumping up the cash needed for Roberto Mancini to sign Sergio Aguero in a club record £38million deal.

The Citizens have made clear their intentions to sell Tevez rather than allow him to leave on loan, but with Aguero's impressive start to life at Manchester City, Mancini and Co. may be prepared to change their stance on the want-away Argentinian.

And with the likes of Edin Dzeko and Mario Balotelli in reserve, as well as a surplus of other attacking midfield options, confirmation of Tevez's departure could be just around the corner.

It has been reported that officials from both Milan and Manchester will meet this afternoon in Monaco, where both clubs are present for the UEFA Champions League Group Stage draw, and try to thrash out a deal.
