Austrian striker Andreas Weimann has rejoined Watford on loan until January after signing a new contract at Aston Villa.
The 21-year-old was at Vicarage Road for the second half of last season, scoring four goals in 18 matches for the Hornets.
And Weimann has been rewarded with a contract streching to 2014 with Villa, but has been sent back to Watford to gain more first-team experience.
"I was offered the new deal and I was over the moon to sign it. It was the only thing I wanted to do," Weimann told the club's official website.
"I have three years now and I hope, by the end of it, to be a regular first-team player for Aston Villa.
"That's the aim. I am just going to do my best."
