Bristol Rovers have signed free agent Danny Woodards on a one-year contract.
The versatile defender was unattached after leaving MK Dons in May.
Rovers manager Paul Buckle knows Woodards from his Exeter days and believes the 27-year-old will be a major asset to the team, telling the official club website: "Danny is going to be a massive help to the squad, and he is a great addition to what we already have."
He added: "He is a player who can play in a number of positions, which is something we are not really blessed with at the moment."
