Crystal Palace have extended defender Peter Ramage's loan from QPR until January.

The 27-year-old former Newcastle full-back has spent the first month of the season at Selhurst Park, making five appearances and helping the Eagles to their best start in five years.

Ramage said earlier in the campaign he wanted to go back to Loftus Road and try to get into Neil Warnock's first team.

But he has now agreed to stay in south London at least until the turn of the year.

Palace boss Dougie Freedman also wants to extend the loan of Leicester centre-half Aleksandar Tunchev.
